53′ Dry Van

The standard enclosed trailer behind most general freight. Fully weather-sealed, dock-height, and loaded by forklift or pallet jack from the rear.

Used for

Length: 53 ft
Interior width: 98–100 in
Interior height: 108–110 in
Standard pallets: 26 (single-stacked)
Max payload: Up to ~45,000 lb

Hotshot / Gooseneck

Units: —

A medium-duty truck pulling a flatbed gooseneck trailer. Dispatched direct for time-critical loads that would otherwise wait on a scheduled full-size truck.

Used for

Deck length: 30–40 ft
Deck width: 102 in
Max payload: Up to ~16,500 lb
Loading: Flatbed — side, rear or crane
Best for: Expedited and oversized-on-deck

Straight Truck

Units: —

A single-chassis box truck for local pickup and delivery. Manoeuvrable enough for tight urban docks and sites a 53-footer cannot reach.

Used for

Box length: 24–26 ft
Max payload: Up to ~10,000 lb
Loading: Liftgate or dock-height
Best for: Local P&D, tight access
